Our Philosophy
The concept Build-Measure-Learn is a feedback loop that is a core component of the Lean Startup methodology. The loop consists of three steps:

Build: Develop a minimum viable product (MVP) that can be used to test a hypothesis about a product or service.

Measure: Collect data on how customers interact with the MVP, and use that data to learn about the market and customers.

Learn: Analyze the data and use it to make informed decisions about what to do next. This may include iterating on the MVP, pivoting to a new idea, or scaling up a successful product or service.

The goal of Build-Measure-Learn is not to build a final product or even to build a prototype, but to maximize learning through incremental, iterative development. Learning could be about product features, customer needs, pricing, distribution channel or anything else really. MVP is not about the product with the fewest features but rather should be simplest thing that can be showed to customers to get the most learning at that point. When a MVP is defined so should learning objectives that include what is being tested and measured. As the product develops over the build-measure-learn iterations so do the MVPs and learning.

Since the company Build Measure Learn Sweden AB is named after the concept of build-measure-learn (from Learn Startup) it's a signal that we are pretty keen on methodologies that optimize for learning, rely heavily on hypotheses and data collection and involve quick iteration and direct customers involvement and feedback. Build-measure-learn is far from the only methodology that we rely and use, but it should give an indication of our mindsets.
